GETTING STARTED

Sign in, claim a player name, play.

Your Reclamation account is the only identity you need. Sign in with your email, claim a player name — it's the name your competitive record is written against — and Play launches Reclamation straight into your browser. No install, no separate client.

IN-GAME

Press Esc for everything.

One menu holds every setting. Open it with Esc, then press the letter for the screen you want. Esc steps back out one screen at a time — it never drops you straight into the match from a settings page.

ESC G

Game settings

Zoom, graphics detail, trails, name tags, hitboxes, radar and stat box opacity, screen shake, ping, and sound.

ESC C

Chat settings

Show or hide Public, Team, Enemy team, Private, Channel chat, and public macro spam individually.

ESC B

Banner settings

Turn player banners on or off in the stat box.

ESC M

Macros

Three programmable slots. Bind a key to any message or command.

ESC K

Key bindings

Rebind movement, weapons, and toggles to keys you actually play on.

ESC A

Arena list

See what else is playing right now and switch arenas.

CONTROLS

Default keys.

Every key below is yours to change. Open Esc then K, select a row, press Enter, then press the new key. Press R on a row to put it back to default.

Game settings.

Every row here has a real, observable effect — nothing in this menu is decorative.

Game scale0.50x – 1.25x

World zoom, six steps. Below 0.75x ships read small; above 1.0x you see less of the map.

Smooth graphicsOn / Off

Texture filtering on every sprite.

Show starsOn / Off

The background starfield.

Ship exhaust, bullet trails, bomb trailsOn / Off each

Visual detail with a real cost on lower-end machines — turn any of them off if the game feels heavy.

Name tagsOff / Teammates / All

Whose name tags are drawn.

Show hitboxesOn / Off

Draws the server's real ship collision radius, not the sprite outline — useful for learning to aim.

Hitbox opacity20% – 100%

How solid the hitbox overlay reads.

Bomb radius graphicsOn / Off

An alternate bomb sprite with the blast radius drawn into the art, where the build carries it.

Radar opacity / Stat box opacity20% – 100% each

Fade either overlay without hiding it outright.

Screen shake0% – 100%

Scales camera shake from weapon impacts. Set to 0 to turn it off entirely.

Show pingOn / Off

Your measured round-trip time to the server.

Sound / Sound volumeOn/Off, 0% – 100%

Chat name length4 – 24 characters

How much of a sender's name is shown before chat text in the log.

QUESTIONS

Common questions.

My rebind doesn't seem to do anything.

A key the browser reserves for itself — F11 and F12 — can't be bound. The menu will tell you a key can't be used rather than accepting it silently.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Reclamation plays same-origin in your browser from the Play page. Sign in, claim a player name, and launch.

Where do my settings save?

Locally, in your browser, tied to this site. They carry over between sessions on the same browser, but not automatically to a different device.

What's the difference between hitboxes and the bomb radius graphic?

Show hitboxes draws the server's real ship collision box. The bomb radius graphic is a cosmetic reskin of the bomb sprite — separate settings, separate purposes.

COMMUNITY

Ask a person, not a page.

The Reclamation Discord is where matches get organized, bugs get reported, and settings questions get answered fast. It's also where launch updates land first.
